Position:       Associate Financial Analyst

 Location:        San Luis Obispo, CA

 Type:            12 months

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or related discipline preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in a high growth environment preferred
  • Understanding and experience in Financial P/L Planning, Reporting, and Analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with internal clients with a consultative approach
  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical mindset, highly organized
  • Solid communication and presentation skills, particularly around data visualizations and summarizing results
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Intermediate working knowledge of full Microsoft Suite including MS Excel
  • Experience and knowledge of NetSuite, Adaptive, or similar financial tools preferred

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Senior Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business analytical needs across the company
  • Provide monthly and quarterly Financial P/L reports to business units
  • Assist with the management and analysis of headcount, purchase orders, and Capital Expenditures
  • Assist with report building in the Adaptive financial system
  • Be a key player in the month-end close review
  • All other duties as assigned
